I experienced similar problems as Tameka did. I went on my birthday, nov 10th, and I am still fuming about my horrible experience. Seating was no hassle as I had made reservations for my party. Our appetizers were cold and our drinks were lukewarm. The only thing that was up to par was the water! The seafood lasagna and cheescake which were posted on the menu were "not being offered" which were the main reasons why i chose whitebones. After settling for shrimp scampi, and my friends also chose pasta dishes. Our meals were all cold, had no salt, mine was sour. I could have made the scampi sauce at home myself! I could not eat that pasta. My other friend had shrimp alfredo, it tasted like creamed flour. She also did not eat, Sadly my other friends were sooo hungry, and our waitress was MIA that they ate around the unpleasantries. When she eventually returned, she abruptly cleared our plates and never came back. We saw the hostess, made her aware of the issues, and asked for the mangaer. When he arrived he was very apprehensive, and barely mustered excuses. Firstly, i asked about the missing lasgana and cheesecake. We were told that the lasagna was on the RW menu. I told him it was not and attempted to show him, he refused and said he would take my word for it. Then he said that it is not being offered, after which he said that it was too hot to be cut and wont be serving it. I don't know which lie hew as trying to sell me. The situation was left unresolved. The hostess came back and we asked for THE REAL manager. He was much better, he apologised and had comped some of our meals. We were still asked to pay service charge!!! There wasnt much service given. To make the evening interesting, there was a rep from The Observer, who asked my friends and I if we were food critics. She heard and saw everything that took place, she mentioned that we should submit our complaint to the editor! Our bill took FOREVER to be given to us; the cashier complained when we asked for individual receipts, and scowled the whole time. Overall, it was the most unpleasant dining experience I have ever had. We left upset and HUNGRY!!!

I was extremely dissatisfied with the service received on Wednesday night of Restaurant week. I must say that I have dined there before and was extremely pleased which is the only reason I would return. Maybe it is that you are not fully equipped to handle large volumes of diners as was the case during this restaurant week and as such should stay clear from these events as the surface image your establishment presents is bad for the promoters of restaurant week.
To begin with i had reservations for 2pax at 8:00pm got there on time and had to wait 52 minutes to get a table, this I could forgive as I understand the nature of restaurant week hence I waited. After being seated at a wet rocking table I ordered including drinks and I am not referring to the complimentary one which I am yet to get and by the way my drink order which I am also still yet to get. To add insult to injury our appetizer was brought to us, being a finger food, we proceeded to have it but there was nothing to wipe my hands with when we were finished. The waiter I presume was extremely busy elsewhere because he was no where in sight; i beckoned to one of the waitresses bussing a table and told her we had no napkins, she gave me an unpleasant look then went and brought 2 cocktail paper napkins, i asked her for a "real" napkin and she told me there was no more believe it or not. We waited just minutes short of an hour to receive our entree all this time i tried to get the attention of the waiter to remind him of our cocktails previously ordered, this too was futile. The entree by the way was cold. I ordered the Coconut Curried Fish with Steamed Bammies which i know should be done to order which suggests that it had to be sitting for quite a while for it to be cold when brought to the table. The Shrimp Pasta meal ordered by my husband was however hot. The waiter was once again nowhere to be seen for me to indicate that my meal was cold. We waited for an additional 10mins for the table to be cleared by a waitress that passed by. Eventually our waiter returned to take the dessert orders which we were to receive after deciding whether or not to stay because of waiting so long once again to get the desserts or to figure out where we could just simply settle our bill to leave. The waiter finally came back to the table with the desserts and I literally had to get up to call him back to the table after he placed the desserts down and moved away so briskly as he had been doing all night to implore him to prepare our bill. Bear in mind its a table for 2 and the bill costed us yet another lengthy delay.
I must however had that your parking attendants were extremely courteous and attentive. There are a couple days left in restaurant week and I presume they might be the busiest of days, as such you must seek to improve your service as my experience was very unbecoming. As previously mentioned I had the opportunity of experiencing much greater standards there, however it would be absolutely awful for a first time diner at your establishment as what was to be an enjoyable experience turned out to be a three hour ordeal.

Big up Whitebones! I visited ur restaurant on the 8th/nov.09 Thank you for being apart of restaurant week, you have enabled me to re-unite with my former classmates whom i havent seen in 11yr. and had a blast. The food was great, the settings were relaxing and the staff from security to waitress were ohh sooo pleasant and courteous. If they make forgiveable mistakes, plz see it as that. they make ur establishment worthwhile. I will definately be coming back.
