HI Sharon Neita,

I work with Island Grill - and would like to thank you for your feedback.

Many customers feel as you do about gloves, but beware - they only work if they are constantly changed AND if people who wear them are washing their hands correctly.

In article below you will see where gloves (when not constantly changed or reusing gloves) actually cause more bacteria than properly washed hands:

Nothing beats properly cleaned hands. Companies that use gloves have to enforce strict glove policy guidelines to them to be as effective as you would like.

Sincerely,

Denise Lyn

I was rather taken aback by the manner in which burgers are handled as was observed recently at your Portmore Pines outlet.

I ordered a burger and stood and witnessed where the worker was very much handling bread and all the applications necessary to the burger with his bare hands. I almost stepped out. I have never seen this before or expected a fast food place to be handling food of that nature without as much as a glove. That should be a MUST! There is no need for me to spell out all the health risks involved. That was so tacky and poor to say the least and i trust that this is not the practise and every effort will be made to ensure this practise is not repeated.

I am hoping to remain your loyal customer.

Thank you.
