Fort George

Located today on the grounds of the Titchfield High School, this fort was built by Christian Lilly after 1729 as a defense against expected Spanish invasions. He designed space for 22 guns and cannons, and constructed 10 feet thick walls for security. All that is left today of the fort are the ammunition house, defence walls and a few cannons.
