One of the more lively and active exhibition spaces, this mid-town gallery is host to many displays of young avant-garde artists with its "Art Fresh" and "Super Plus Under 40" group exhibitions and the more sober solo exhibitions featuring established mainstream artists . The gallery also boasts of a large inventory in their basement which its director Gilou Bauer describes as "Ali Baba's Cave", where you can unearth treasures by painters, ceramicists, photographers and sculptors. The donation of the space was a philanthropic gesture from the Jamaica Mutual Life Assurance Society as a contribution to the development of the Arts in Jamaica. AIC (Ja.) Ltd has been the Gallery's major sponsor since 2002.
